Out of all the Buzzfeed design articles, my favorite was number 17, "A Beer Guide by the Glass". The aesthetic of this poster appealed to me visually seeing as my two favorite colors are black and white, displaying my appreciation of simplicity. This design is simple, yet still intriguing, containing fun fonts and a pleasing plain, white, brick background. This poster shows different kinds of ingredients/alcohols included in the drinks shown to inform viewers of what is found inside each kind of beer. The different shape and size of the cups allow viewers to see the kind of containers these drinks can be found in, as well as the innovative use of the fonts of the ingredients. It seems as if the composer purposely made certain ingredients take up more space on the cups (font-wise) in order to represent how much of the drink they take up, which would cause viewers to both look closer and realize part of the composer's message. The multitude of containers, drinks, and combinations communicate to viewers how diverse beer can be, yet the presentation of this piece shows how simple it is at the same time. I believe this is what makes this piece intriguing and even beautiful. Finding the simplicity behind things is an interesting part of life and is represented here.

Many people see beer as a standard, simple drink, yet this poster shows otherwise. The different kinds of beer and alcohol included in this piece allow viewers to see the many different sides to beer, and drinks in general. A piece such as this will commonly appeal to beer or alcohol connoisseurs, causing them to want to share this with others. This piece is beautiful and shows the diversity behind beer in a simple, yet creative way, appealing to both me and others alike, causing individuals to look a little deeper.
