Morgan, anxiously awaiting her first college class, began to doodle on the wall on the Sweet Shop, nervously biting the straw attached to her coffee cup. She then decided to engrave her name into the wall in an effort to be symbolic. Looking across the booth from herself, she makes eye contact with her best friends from home, Kayla and Bekah, and decides to leave their mark on the wall as well. Not realizing the time, Morgan looks down at her phone, not believing her eyes when the screen displays "11:20". The three girls all rush out of the booth and unison and sprint for the door, trying to make it to their 11:30 English class on the other side of campus.
After busting in the classroom doors at 11:30 on the dot, the girls listen to their professor explain the curriculum for the course, including their first assignment, a 2,000 word paper about their life goals due by the next class meeting. As class comes to a close, the girls exit the class in distress. "I don't understand how we already have a huge assignment on the first day of class!" exclaims Kayla, while Bekah responds, saying "I know! I don't even know how to write this, let alone my aspirations." "It's alright," says Morgan, "I know exactly what to write about.
Morgan's dream school has always been FSU and eventually wants to work or the university, which is what she bases her essay on. As she happily finishes up the last paragraph of her paper later that night, she looks at a text she receives from Bekah asking for help formatting the essay and for Morgan to send her essay. Morgan naively agrees, unaware of what is to come at all.
A week later, as Morgan, Kayla and Bekah sit at that same spot in the Sweet shop, Morgan receives an unexpected email from her English professor. In the email is an attachment of her essay, except with Bekah's name on the top. In disbelief, Morgan scrolls down further, seeing that she has been removed the class and that her and Kayla both have a meeting with their professor and the executive board of the University. As Morgan looks up at Bekah in horror, she realizes her worst fear and biggest betrayal is unfolding.
