POP CULTURE 9/1

When it comes to pop culture, everyone can't help but to get a little bit sucked up in all of it. I happen to be one of those people. I frequently catch myself getting caught up in flashy magazines that line the aisles at grocery stores, believing the ridiculous lies they spew, or watching E! News and feeling as if I am involved in al the Hollywood drama as well. When I'm bored I can't help but to watch Keeping up with the Kardashians or some other pointless show, but I love watching them, just as half the girls my age do. It's easy to believe the lies and get caught up in silly, reality show drama, proving to be a weakness I have developed. I am also a huge Netflix fan, constantly re-watching my favorite shows, including The Office, Grey's Anatomy, and One Tree Hill. I also tend to find myself watching random Lifetime or Netflix movies just to pass time, although, my favorite movie is 500 Days of Summer. Another pastime I enjoy when it comes to pop culture is watching make-up tutorials. Being a girl, I have always been interested in make-up, and have gradually learned some tricks from watching these how-to's. Seeing girls use crazy expensive make-up in ways you never thought possible is actually quite addicting. I'm also a big music geek, being really interested in almost all kinds of music and taking pride in the music I spend hours finding. This is just a small glimpse at my obsession with pop culture, which only seems to grow larger.
